If Your Child Struggles With Math, Start Here

Hi Reader!

If your child struggles with math, the problem often isn’t the math itself.

Very often, the real issue is place value.

When place value is confusing, addition and subtraction become frustrating, and multiplication and division feel overwhelming. But when children truly understand place value, math begins to make sense.

This week I shared a short video explaining how to help your child understand place value using simple hands-on ideas.

You can watch the video and read the full explanation here:

πŸ‘‰ Teaching Place Value in Homeschool

In this article you'll learn:

β€’ Why many children struggle with math
β€’ How place value affects all areas of math
β€’ Simple ways to build understanding at home
β€’ How to move from concrete β†’ pictorial β†’ abstract learning

Sometimes children don’t need more practice β€” they need a stronger foundation.

If math has been frustrating in your homeschool, this is a great place to start.

You're doing important work teaching your children.

We hope this is helpful!

Sincerely,
The Homeschool Safari Team
