Morning Baskets: Homeschool Hack for Smoother School Days

Hi Reader!

One of our favorite homeschool hacks is the use of morning baskets in our homeschool routines. Morning baskets are just small collections of themed, educational items that can be pulled out quickly and assigned for independent learning time. This can look like magnetiles, a whiteboard and markers, sticker books, or any assortment of other items. These baskets can be periodically switched out to keep them fresh, and even designed to correspond with other material that is being learned during formal school time.

Morning Baskets are a good way to help stretch your efforts a little farther and reduce overwhelm, especially if you have multiple students. One can work on things in their basket while the other gets the focused attention they need from you.

You can read more about it and get some ideas for morning basket contents by grade level at our new blog, here!

Enjoy your weekend!

This can take some time, but we've tried to cut down on some of the leg work for you by outlining the 7 Primary Homeschooling...

That's why we pride ourselves in being able to help parents make language learning accessible at home! Our live, international teachers are able to share a small piece of their culture with students from around the world! In addition to our online language classes (currently offering Spanish and Mandarin), we have a wide...
