Good morning!
We have some exciting things to share with you! We have been hard at work behind the scenes, developing a better, more exciting experience on our website and within our community; and, as newsletter recipients, you get to be among the first to know about our rebrand!
Little Lions Learn is now The Homeschool Safari! Going forward, you will continue to see Little Lions Learn for our content geared toward younger kids, but The Homeschool Safari is going to be the home for older kids' content and parent resources. With summer just around the corner, we wanted to let you know about some exciting summer camps we will be offering for your students. These camps are a great way to incorporate some light learning and structure into the summer without continuing to do formal school. You can register here to reserve your child's spot. This summer camp does qualify for ESA funding in Arizona, Arkansas, New Hampshire, and Utah. β Speaking of summer, learning doesn't have to stop just because the school year does! In fact, it's a great time to casually work on skills that need improvement. This doesn't mean diving into the next year's curriculum, but if you have a child who is learning to read, for example, it is easy to work on it intermittently with them throughout the summer break. This is a good way to help prevent boredom while also making the school year less overwhelming. This can look however you want it to- visiting the library to pick out books or snuggling on the couch to revisit and old favorite. The idea is just to create memories together while slowly continuing to build on the foundation of learning that you have started.
We also like to use this time to explore new skills or activities that may be harder during the school year. Is your child interested in learning an instrument? Taking an art class? Learning a language? Baking or sewing? Introduce those things while the daily expectations are lighter, and by the time the school year rolls around again they will be set to continue those activities in a more hands-off way as they want to.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Hello Reader, This weekend we remember the ultimate act of self-sacrifice- a holy God who took the sins of the world on Himself so we could have fellowship with Him and live in His glory forever. The Easter story, and the crucifixion of Christ, highlight just how evil and dark the hearts of humanity can be, but through it the love and light of God shine all the brighter. Not only did Jesus willingly endure the ridicule and abuse of His contemporaries, even culminating in His own horrific...
The Homeschool Learning Adventure Hello Reader, Yesterday, history was made with the signing of an executive order to begin the dismantling of the Department of Education. There are a lot of mixed feelings about this decision, and there is also a lot of confusion. Can real education even happen without federal oversight? How will children learn everything they need to know? This press release was issued on the subject, and essentially states that the intent is to remove the bureaucracy and...
