Homeschool in 3 hours per day? Here's how. (And preview our great new platform!)
Published about 2 months ago • 2 min read
Hello Reader,
Homeschooling doesn't have to take all day.
In fact, 3 focused hours can be more than effective than 6 in a traditional setting. This is because, at home, children are able to work at their own pace and have help on-demand to get through material quickly. They don't have the distractions of unruly kids, and don't have to sit and wait for help or for other kids to finish their work.
Homeschooling allows much more efficient school time (even on the days when it seems like nothing gets done), and then leaves plenty of time for play (which is also a way children learn)!
It can feel like something is missing, especially if you are used to longer school days, but embracing the school day that's short and sweet can help everyone relax and enjoy the journey a lot more. This is one of the secrets to "do-it-all parents" who are able to somehow juggle work and homeschooling.
Another, is that it is possible to outsource some of the homeschooling so they don't have to do it all themselves. That's where we come in! Our virtual classes and clubs help to shoulder some of the weight of homeschooling without compromising the social element of in-person learning. Check out our new platform!

Reader, It's been a dark couple of days. Who knew that one person could impact so many people in such a profound way- and at only 31 years old. Charlie Kirk was a man of conviction who touched the world in a way no one else could- by loving people and living boldly. The stories people are sharing of how he was there to help them when they needed it, show how he truly loved people and met them where they were at. I pray we can learn to do the same. And, let us each examine our convictions and...
Hi Reader! A lot of people lose sleep over the things that their children might lose if they are homeschooled. Parents fret and fear that they won't do something right or won't give their children the "full experience" to become well-rounded individuals. But, the reality is, there are ways that public education just can't compare to homeschooling. One of the big ones is the ability to develop emotional intelligence beyond the confines of the classroom. Children in school are often not trained...
Hello Reader! Have you noticed that your environment plays a big part in your mood and your ability to focus? Most of us have a favorite "spot" to sit and reflect, or a "work area" where we feel better able to tackle our daily tasks. Children are no different. Creating an environment that inspires learning is a great way to help make the learning journey easier. This is not going to look the same for everyone. Some kids work very well sprawled out on the floor, or sitting on their bed; others...
