Hello Reader,

This weekend we remember the ultimate act of self-sacrifice- a holy God who took the sins of the world on Himself so we could have fellowship with Him and live in His glory forever. The Easter story, and the crucifixion of Christ, highlight just how evil and dark the hearts of humanity can be, but through it the love and light of God shine all the brighter.

Not only did Jesus willingly endure the ridicule and abuse of His contemporaries, even culminating in His own horrific death, but through it all He modeled grace and forgiveness and love; and, in rising from the dead He proved Himself greater even than death.

This Easter, our hope for you is that you may experience the hope and new life that come with knowing that the pain and injustice in the world will not last forever. There is a force that is greater. There is a God that has conquered death and will demand justice for every wrong committed on earth.

Bunnies and eggs are fun, and watching the flowers bloom in spring brings joy to many peoples' hearts, but Easter is really about hope. It's about a holy God bridging the gap between Himself and fallen humanity, so that we have hope of something better beyond the pain and hardship of this world.
